Those girls by Sarah Lawrence ( BOOK ONE)

The first book:

Back cover: Those girls are Jinx Slater, Liberty Latiffe, and their trendsetting, uber affluent entourage. They run wild at the exclusive Stagmount school, swap their Stella McCartney blouses like Jelly Babies and stop at nothing in their absolute pursuit of fun. Then snobby Stella Fox shows up, and naive Liberty quickly falls under her spell. Jinx knows the new girl can't be trusted and she's determined to win back her best friend, even if it means waging war on the self- absorbed Stella.
My opinion:
The book was exciting from cover to cover, and there were many things I didn't anticipate to happen. This book takes place in London, present time. The characters are very realistic. Jinx (real name Jane) is outgoing, funny, determined, and a good friend. Liberty is sometimes "daft" , but is a great person. Their entourage includes Charlie, Liv, and Chasity. Charlie has been best friends with Liv ever since they ruined the school field as a first year prank. Liv is the brains of the group, coming up with ways to get back at their enemies and not to get caught by The Gunn ( headmistress of one of the houses). The Gunn is a constant pain at Stagmount for those girls, she is always finding ways to get them in trouble. The last of the group is Chasity. She is Jinx's second best friend (besides Liberty). They are all lower sixth formers (don't ask me what that is, I have no clue) at Stagmount high school. The second most hated teacher at Stagmount besides The Gunn is Susan Dickinson (AKA "The Dick"). Everything at Stagmount is semi- perfect for those girls, then Stella Fox shows up. Liberty falls under her spell and gets in a huge fight with Jinx. The rest of the group will go to extremes to find dirt on Stella and get their friend back. It's not that long when they find out about Stella's shocking background, but the question is how can they prove it? This book is well written and entertaining. I'm now on the second book in the series. WHAT I WILL REVIEW ABOUT SOON: Those girls 2, Being Nikki (Airhead novel by Meg Cabot).

"Next time me and my LA friends are looking for a wild time in London, we'll defiantly phone up THOSE GIRLS!" ~~ Zoey Dean, author of the New York Times bestselling series The A- list.
